White Young Green, consultants to the built, natural and social environment, has announced the further expansion of its specialist asbestos team in the northern region.

Tom Sendall has joined White Young Green’s Manchester office as a principal asbestos consultant. This latest appointment will assist the consultants to meet the growing demand it is currently experiencing from companies and organisations with multiple property portfolios, such as facilities management companies, universities and banks, to comply with current legislation in relation to the management and or removal of asbestos.

On a day to day basis Tom will have a range of responsibilities including developing asbestos management plans, carrying out surveys, compiling method statements and risk assessments and supervising asbestos removal contractors while on site to ensure that asbestos removal works are appropriately supervised.

Speaking about his new post he said: “I am looking forward to being able to make a significant contribution to an already established team in the northern region, working across what can typically be described as a diverse range of clients including blue chip companies and local authorities such as the University of Central Lancashire, social housing providers, the Riverside Group and national regeneration agency, English Partnerships.”
