The specialist supplier of thermostatic control solutions and accessories for the commercial market, has designed the range – fitted in operating theatres, care units, hand washing areas, sterile zones, accommodation areas – to thwart the spread of nosocomial infection (and others) in hospitals, healthcare institutions and retirement homes.
The range includes removable BIOCLIP mixers/taps, where each tap/mixer is supplied with two demountable spouts to enable continuous use, whilst the contaminated spout is removed for effective sterilisation. The spouts are designed to accommodate connection to sterilisation filters.
The BIOCLIP removable mixer tap/spout features anti-stagnation action – a self draining system after each use preventing water stagnation and bacterial development within the sanitary fitting – and can be removed from its base for disinfection tempering with cold bactericidal solutions.
