Vaillant has provided 5kW and 6kW high efficiency climaVAIR air conditioning units for an enormous 150,000 sq ft office and warehousing conversion project in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, owned and managed by Bossdean Properties Ltd. The units were specified and installed by Eco-Mech, a division of Process Mechanical Ltd (Pro Mech), who specialise in the design, supply and installation of integrated renewable energy systems. Pro Mech has also installed Vaillant’s high efficiency climaVAIR cassette range air conditioning with an output of 8kW in its own premises.
The development in Bridlington was to convert an old derelict industrial building into a state of the art business centre hosting independent light industrial units as well as some larger premises for businesses in the town and surrounding area.

Alan Howarth, Project Engineer for Pro-Mech, said: “As a business, we install eco systems and part of our remit is always to try and conserve energy for our clients and deliver value for money. This means that we select products of the highest quality. We regularly install Vaillant’s high efficiency air conditioning units because they have some of the best durability in terms of build quality and their efficiency is second to none. We also know that if we have any challenges along the way, Vaillant will provide excellent aftersales support.”

The climaVAIR high-wall range is a high specification range using R410A refrigerant and has all the features that would be expected from a premium product, including: A-rating energy efficiency; hot start; dehumidifier; de-ioniser and sleep function. The units have a three-level filtration arrangement – anti-microbial, anti-dust and activated carbon – and provide horizontal and vertical air swing.
