Walter Meier (Climate UK) has launched the Blue Box Tetris range of modular chillers, in capacities from 110kW to 930kW. Offering exceptional design flexibility, high energy efficiency with refrigerant R410A, compact dimensions, low noise and fast delivery (7- 10 days ex-factory), the Tetris range also provides precise control of every aspect of performance.
The Tetris modular design philosophy offers eight versions in 26 sizes, with many advanced features as standard, including heat pump, integrated hydraulic module, total or partial heat recovery and free cooling. There is also a wide selection of additional options for extensive customisation. Tetris has one of the smallest footprints in the market for each capacity.
Use of multiple scroll compressors connected in tandem or trio provides efficient step adjustment to address variable loads, resulting in higher efficiencies at partial loads. Compared to traditional semi-hermetic compressors, reduction in electrical consumption can be as high as 40% depending on loads.
In addition, the use of a large number of smaller compressors provides extra system resilience in the event of a single compressor breakdown, as well as facilitating compressor maintenance and replacement.
