Timeguard has extended its popular Programastat heating controls range with new analogue and digital versions of Economy 7 time switches, which include a simple boost feature for additional control.
The boost feature enables householders to call for a 15, 30, 60 or 120 minute boost to their heating or hot water at the touch of a button, after which the power is automatically switched off again.
This means the user can get heating or hot water outside of their normal programme without making changes to the regular timing programme and so no risk of missing out on the Economy 7 savings tariff. There is also a simple over-ride on/off switch. Digital and analogue versions are available.
Once these new Economy7 timers are set up to take advantage of the seven hours during which cheaper base load power is offered, householders need never worry about the programming again. Summer/winter hour changes are automatic on the digital version. These products are available from all Timeguard stockists.
