Debbie Eales, looks at what’s in store for those visiting the BSEE Building Controls Show 2014, which takes place from October 22nd to 23rd, at Sandown Park. You can save time on your visit by pre-registering for both the show and the seminars (many of which are CPD accredited) by visiting the dedicated website at http://bcshow.bsee.co.uk/
From Building Management Systems (BMS) to wireless controls, energy management solutions and simple devices to help people take control of the environment, exhibitors at this year’s BSEE Building Controls Show will be unveiling new products and demonstrating their technical innovation in this burgeoning market.
Having grown steadily over the past three years, organizer, Datateam Business Media Ltd, is looking forward to the biggest event yet at Sandown Park. The Show has moved upstairs to the Surrey Hall allowing many companies to invest in bigger stands.
Exhibitors include Schneider Electric, the BCIA (Building Controls Industry Association) and KNX UK plus many more acknowledged leaders in this field.
Alongside a wide range of exhibitors will be an exciting seminar programme presented by industry leading experts, a selection of which will be CPD accredited.
Schneider Electric, the global energy management specialist, which operates in more than 100 countries, is sponsoring both the show and seminar theatre, which is a fantastic endorsement.
Show Manager, Karena Cooper said: “There is no doubt that the demand for knowledge in smart building controls is growing, with both the public and private sector looking for solutions in efficiency and sustainable ways of operating.
“This exhibition provides an ideal opportunity to network, discover innovation and knowledge on the latest working practices.
“Key speakers will provide two full days of seminars giving an important insight in their respective fields and providing valuable CPD accredited points to those attending.”
FREE race day ticket and Champagne draw
Continues Karena: “I hope visitors take advantage of everything on offer during their visit, be sure to collect your FREE race day ticket at the registration desk and join us at the BSEE stand at 3pm each day for the prize draw for the Case of Champagne.”
Highlights from the seminar theatre…
“Smart retrofit for smaller buildings is here,” says Mike Hicks from Schneider Electric. “With a huge proportion of our buildings under 10,000sqm and historically neglected when it comes to intelligent controls, the pressure for building owners to ensure they are energy efficient is ever increasing.”
Konrad Chapman advises on taking a structured approach to energy management. “Facilities managers, building managers and energy managers need a clear, easy-to-understand briefing on energy management: what’s driving it; how it intersects with energy monitoring and behavioural change; and how technology can play a crucial role.”
Free admission, free parking and a free race day ticket!
With free admission and free parking making the UK’s only dedicated event for the building controls industry an even more attractive prospect, The Building Controls Show 2014 has seen a sharp increase people registering to attend.
Every individual who registers and attends the show this October will also receive a FREE race day ticket.
Plus! Every individual who pre-registers – and attends the show – will be entered into a FREE prize draw to win a case of Champagne. The winner will be picked at random and announced at 3pm on Thursday, October 23rd on the BSEE stand.
