SPMA SERIES FOR BUILDING AUTOMATION AND EV BATTERY CHARGERS
High efficiency and ultra-compact design
Carlo Gavazzi has launched the SPMA range of compact DIN rail mounting switch mode power supplies designed specifically for electrical panels where space is minimal; covering power and voltage requirements from 15W to 100W.
The SPMA series of switching power supplies ensure optimal performance in industries such as automation and control for commercial buildings, domestic control systems, EV Charging and machine building.
Starting from 1 DIN (17.5mm) wide up to 4 DIN (70mm) wide, the SPMA range offers efficiency up to 89% which reduces energy wastage and prevents excessive heating in the enclosure. Operating temperature range is -30 °C to +70 °C (-22 °F to 158 °F), and a storage temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C (-40 °F to 185 °F).
The SPMA range offers output voltage of either 5, 12, 15 or 24 VDC. Universal input voltage 85 Vac to 264Vac or 130 Vdc to 350 Vdc. All units come with safety features such as Over Current (OVC), Over Voltage (OVP) and Short Circuit (SCP).
All power supplies are developed and manufactured to be certified with certified by CE, UL508, UL 62368, UL1310 Class 2, ISA Class1 Div 2 and includes the 4kVAC isolation voltage that is mandatory for automotive battery charging applications.
