VES Andover Ltd have introduced Sensaire, a brand new range of low energy use air handling units and extract fans, designed to comply with the requirements of Part L2 of the Building Regulations.
They are available with a complete built-in controls package and an easy to use remote touch screen controller.
Five sizes of unit are available with airflows up to 2.0m3/sec and external resistances of up to 500 Pa.
The Sensaire unit is suitable for top or bottom access. Each double skinned section locks into the next, providing minimal noise breakout and thermal leakage, and no air loss.
Components available include mixing box; inlet damper; filters – up to grade G8 efficiency, fan section – with motors for 230 volt 1 phase, 400 volt 3 phase, and DC; heater battery – hot water and electric; cooling coil including heat pump, fitted silencer.
The control system includes fully automatic operation of the above components, plus intelligent start-up which automatically monitors and adjusts daily start time to minimise energy use.
All units have been tested to BS 848 Part 1, and built under the BS EN ISO 9001 system.
