Schindler has been awarded the contract to supply elevators and escalators to the new VietinBank headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Schindler will supply 75 elevators and 46 escalators, including six Schindler double-deck elevators travelling at 10 m/s, which will make them the fastest of their kind in Vietnam. The project will be equipped with 42 Schindler 7000 high-rise elevators, 23 Schindler 5500 elevators and 46 Schindler 9300AE escalators.
Schindler’s PORT technology will power the elevator group in the office tower to deliver a highly efficient, intuitive and personalised building transit experience.
In addition, Lobby Vision, a building management tool that allows single-point supervision of the elevator and escalator systems in an entire building, will equip all of the office and commercial areas.
