With Klaxon’s Flashguard range of security sounders, customers have the flexibility of choosing a backplate, outer cover and lens combination to suit the requirements of any given installation.
There are five standard sounder units in the range; The Xtra and Xpro-H, both of which are horizontally mounted, and the XL+, Xpro-V and Xtravert, which are vertically mounted. All have a high visibility xenon strobe and weatherproof to IP 55 and, when correctly configured, are suitable for use in EN50131/PD6662 systems to security grade 3.
Standard units are available with a choice of Premier or Value backplates, and have a large area available for a screen print logo. Units fitted with the Premier backplate benefit from a 118dB sound output thanks to the twin piezo design. Units fitted with the single piezo Value backplate have a sound output of 110dB.
Two double-skinned security sounders are available for applications where superior internal protection is required; the horizontally mounted Xcluder, which has an all-round stainless steel case, and the vertically mounted Ultra, which has a durable 3mm polycarbonate cover and choice of lid and lens covers.
