Visitors to the Parasense stand will find energy monitoring solutions such as the ERM utility and sub-metering monitor and the LRM lighting controller that have been shown to bring energy savings of between 30% and 50%.

Duncan Carter, Parasense’s Commercial & Industrial Account Manager said: “RAC will be a very important event for us this year because we have the solutions that will help air conditioning and refrigeration users meet the combined challenges of the credit crunch, rising energy prices and legislation changes.”

Although Parasense staff will be on hand to discuss any of the company’s products and solutions, they will be particularly focussing on three that will be of particular interest in the current economic climate.

The first is the GRM refrigerant leak detection and monitoring equipment. Parasense experts believe it is essential that companies have an efficient leak detection system in place, not least because a 15% refrigerant loss can result in a 100% increase in energy consumption. Also, with the R22 phase out rapidly approaching, such systems will help with containment of a refrigerant which will become increasingly expensive & difficult to source.

Another recent product on display will be the VSDM, a variable speed condenser and EC fan controller. This retro-fitted product can control between 1 and 12 condenser fans and has given energy savings of up to 20%.
