Oventrop UK Ltd have assisted Totus Engineering Ltd to design efficient and effective temperature control for the new state of the art CCU and main entrance at Torbay Hospital.
Chosen due to their proven track record, Oventrop supplied differential pressure control valves and partner commissioning valves for the Heating and Chilled Water systems to provide pressure controlled stability within these systems. They also supplied Aquastrom thermal balancing valves for the hot water circulation to deliver a thermally balanced system solution.
The new 14 bed ward, main entrance and shop replaces the 30 year old 10 bed unit and provides a modern, patient focussed environment with improved facilities including natural lighting to all bed spaces. Additionally, there is a new dedicated “relatives” room and improved space for visitors.
