MHS Boilers has extended its range of versatile Nexus district heating substations with the introduction of the new Nexus MF 40-20 TMTC unit featuring thermo-mechanical temperature controls. Suitable for district heating schemes, such as multi-occupancy apartment blocks and social housing schemes the Nexus MF 40-20 TMTC is a self-contained fully cased unit, designed to be inexpensive to maintain.

To aid with processes of balancing and commissioning, the new Nexus MF 40-20 TMTC can be fitted with either a Differential Pressure Control Valve (DPCV) or a Differential Pressure Bypass Valve (DPBV). Positioned on the primary return, the DPCV is designed to make commissioning easier, by automatically adjusting return flow based on the primary pressure. This allows individual units to be isolated, which reduces installation time, saving money, while making phased installation much easier. The DPBV can be installed to alleviate difficulties associated with the main system pumps working against a closed circuit.

Ideal for narrow cupboards, the new Nexus MF 40-20 TMTC incorporates a three speed, low noise Grundfos pump and twin WRAS approved stainless steel plate heat exchangers, to supply instantaneous domestic hot water and heating, both complete with thermostatic control.
