Merlin Power Management has launched Maxicare Plus, a new concept in diesel standby generator service contracts. Designed for generator end users as well as resellers, the new Maxicare Plus is a comprehensive service contract offering total peace of mind at a time when businesses are experiencing an increasing number of power outages.
The Maxicare Plus combines four of Merlin’s established products into one fully integrated comprehensive Nationwide Maintenance Contract. These include generator remote monitoring & testing via their existing Hawkeye System, a monitoring system that is fitted to the generator’s control panel, thereby integrating the generator to the remote testing and operating service. Refuelling, using Merlin’s own fleet of tankers & bowsers (fuel is charged extra) and Merlin’s Powercare 24, 365/24/7 nationwide maintenance that includes two-scheduled service visits and emergency call out with a guaranteed four hour response. 
In addition, Merlin also includes all parts and consumables. Incorporating the standby generator, AMF panel, fuel system, acoustic canopy and exhaust system, this addition to the maintenance packages offered by Merlin provides a fixed cost comprehensive insurance cover against any faults or malfunctions of the standby generator.
