Luceco has recently lit a special arena for the horse charity HEROS.  Located at the North Farm Stud in Oxfordshire, the charity aims to rehome ex racehorses after they retire, giving them an opportunity to enjoy a new life after racing.

A recent facility added to the North Farm Stud complex, is a state-of-the-art Indoor Arena and Education Hub which benefits from LED lighting supplied by Luceco.  Ceres is a compact LED high bay luminaire utilising the latest lens technology.  Rated IP65, Ceres benefits from a computer designed die-cast aluminium housing with vortex cooling for maximum LED chip performance providing over 50,000 hours of operational life and a luminaire efficacy up to of 130 Llm/cW.  The Ceres family also includes the Ceres Extra offering 140 Llm/cW and 70,000 hours of operational life and Ceres Ultra with 100,000 hours of working life.

The lighting was designed and supplied by Ben Dewey, Lighting Division Manager for R & M Electrical Group Ltd and the electrical installation was completed by Mark Bradburne of Bradburne Electrical.

HEROS has successfully rehomed hundreds of ex-racehorses, offering a new life and helping the racing heroes move on “to pastures new”.  LED lighting from Luceco ensures these amazing racing heroes are very much in the spotlight at North Farm Stud.
