Oventrop has been heavily involved with Arup, Interserve and NG Bailey to design, using OVSOL and TSOL software; supply and install seven complete solar thermal domestic hot water preheating systems for the new Jaguar Land Rover i54 facility, a £500 million Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton England.

In total, the manufacturing halls house over 120m2 of OKF CK22 flat panel on roof solar thermal collectors, complete with HSK – SLS Hygienic Pre-Heat Storage Vessels; DN32 Pumpsets; Regtronic Solar Controls; Hydrocontrol STR balancing valves; Tyfocor solar fluid; Sontex Supercal 449 Heat Meters.

The factory will be home to the ‘Ingenium’ engine family, which will power a new generation of JLR products designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, starting with the two-litre diesel engine in the Jaguar XE and will employ over 1400 people.
