Rehau has launched its new Intelligent Design software for the design of underfloor heating and plumbing systems.

Developed as a user friendly one stop software package, it is claimed to be able to reduce design time for consultants, contractors, architects and merchants using a Rehau system by up to 30%.

Available in three versions – iCAD, iTAB and iCOOL, the software provides comprehensive mechanical design for underfloor heating systems to BSEN1264, system sizing, heat loss calculations, automated circuit drawings and production of bill of materials.

Rehau iCAD is the most advanced version of the software based on an AutoCAD OEM 2006 platform and can be used for both underfloor heating and plumbing system design as well as being able to automatically generate circuit layouts.

Rehau iTAB is a simpler version for underfloor heating design only while Rehau iCOOL gives the option to carry out heat gain calculations for underfloor cooling systems.

Rehau Intelligent Design operates on a standard PC running Windows 2000 Professional or XP and requires just 700Mb of free disk space.
