Bitzer UK will be highlighting a number of innovative products at the 2009 RAC Exhibition including the energy saving Ecostar air-cooled condensing unit, compressors for the fast growing CO2 market and the Gemini twin condensing unit.
The Ecostar air cooled condensing unit is designed for low and medium temperature applications and is especially suited to installations for supermarkets and convenience stores. The numbers of installations continue to grow rapidly throughout Europe with specifiers being attracted by the energy savings and payback times that can be realised with Ecostar in comparison with competitive alternative refrigeration solutions.
At the heart of each Ecostar unit is the proven Octagon compressor with integrated frequency inverter which operates within this low noise package – a major advantage for installations within residential areas. With factory-mounted electrical wiring of all integrated components, Ecostar is also fast and easy to install, providing a true plug and play solution for refrigeration contractors.
With carbon dioxide becoming increasingly popular as a natural refrigerant, Bitzer UK’s exhibits will also include examples from its comprehensive range of semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors. These solutions are also based on Bitzer’s renowned Octagon compressors that incorporate all the key design features required for successful use with CO2 as a refrigerant.
