Award winning landscape services business Hultons Landscapes has completed its acquisition of £2 million turnover Welsh firm Wright Landscapes for an undisclosed sum, in a move set to support its long-term growth strategy.
The acquisition will see Hultons expand its UK presence into North Wales, and follows its organic growth into the West Midlands and South Yorkshire regions earlier in 2016.
Wright has 15 employees across offices in Wrexham and Alltami and its clients include local authorities, developers, contractors and architects. The business will continue to operate under its existing brand as part of Hultons Landscapes.
Hultons Landscapes’ services include landscape construction, grounds maintenance and private domestic projects and over the last year the business has seen sales increase by over 100 per cent. The acquisition will support the £7 million turnover business’ fast-growing construction division and provide new services to Wright’s existing client base from Hultons’ business units.
The firm, which was founded in 1968, currently employs 65 people in its office in Lymm and is soon to open an office in the Midlands.
Landmark year

Wright was established in 1992 and has enjoyed ongoing expansion since then. The deals sees Contracts Director Steve Emery take up position as the new Regional Director for North Wales. Founder and Managing Director James Wright and Financial Director Sue Wright will also continue to play a leading role in the business’ development and will join Hultons’ senior management team in an advisory capacity.
