Honeywell wins award
Global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has honoured Honeywell with its prestigious 2006 European Security Company of the Year Award in the building technologies space. The Award recognises Honeywell’s successful sales programmes, continued solutions innovation and strategic acquisitions in the security sector.
“Honeywell’s robust sales strategy, combined with a number of key strategic acquisitions has enabled the company to surpass the European security solutions market for two years in a row and firmly position itself among the industry leaders,” says Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Nick Houldsworth. “An established record of developing leading-edge, innovative technology solutions has also underpinned the company’s rapid expansion of its security business.”
“The Frost & Sullivan Award demonstrates Honeywell’s commitment to providing exceptional services to our security customers,” said Johnny Allia, Managing Director, Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics, Europe, Middle East & Africa. “Customers are at the forefront of everything we do. We continue to strengthen relationships with our installed base and generate new customers as we consistently provide solutions that help them reduce costs and safeguard their businesses.”
To qualify for a Frost and Sullivan Company of the Year Award, candidates must meet predetermined criteria set by industry analysts. Through primary and secondary research methods, analysts track companies’ business development, competitive strategies and leadership within the relevant industry space. Candidates must display outstanding management, consistent growth and have a positive social and economic impact on local and national communities and customers. When an organisation continues to maximise market opportunities with innovative solutions, while driving customer value, it becomes a candidate for the Company of the Year Award.
Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting company, presents the Award each year to the company that has best demonstrated exceptional service to its customers, including the ability to combine technology and successful strategic initiatives.
