Power Electrics lit up this year’s British Grand Prix by supplying 25 FG Wilson generating sets to power four hospitality areas over the four day event.  The units supplied ranged from 20 kVA Pro-Rental generating sets, right up to 1250 kVA Power Modules.
Over 240,000 racing enthusiasts attended this year’s Grand Prix which is one of the largest on the international motor racing calendar and is the longest running continuously staged world championship Grand Prix.
The hospitality areas powered by Power Electrics’ rental units at this year’s event were located in key areas along the 5.2 km Silverstone circuit – where revellers watched drivers reach speeds of more than 300 km/h over the 60 lap race.
Having supplied rental power to the British GP for the past seven years, Power Electrics continually provide extensive service support to the event organiser’s year-after-year by basing their maintenance engineers on-site for the duration of the event.  Specialists in supplying rental power, the company has one of the largest rental fleets in Europe with over 1000 generating sets available for hire.
