New from Xpelair is the Premier UltraDC fan which offers low energy usage and an extended motor life.
Designed specifically to satisfy document F performance requirements in domestic applications, Premier UltraDC can be used for decentralised continuous extract systems with four selectable extract rates for kitchens, utility rooms, bathrooms and toilets.
The Premier UltraDC can also be set for intermittent ventilation installations in bathrooms and toilets, whilst the integral humidistat, timer and pull cord features can be activated as required at installation.
Premier can be surface or recess mounted and its IPX5 LoVolt design makes it suitable for use with complete confidence in bathroom splash/hazard-zones 1, 2 and 3. With an eye on whole life costs, the UltraDC motor life is typically five times that of a domestic AC fan.
At the heart of the unit is the pressure development of a centrifugal fan but with ultra low energy use – a mere 3.5W to 5.1 W, and with whisper-quiet noise levels of less than 29 dB(A) there is an LED to tell you its running.
