The energy management division (EMD) of sustainable power group ENER-G has appointed five senior managers to drive an ambitious UK and international expansion programme.

EMD, led by Dr Cedric Rodrigues, currently employs over 100 and against the current recessionary trend, a total of 25 new people been recruited to support the expansion. Turnover is on course to rise by 20% this financial year, with aggressive growth plans and further international expansion in 2011 and 2012.  

The new EMD corporate structure aligns products and services for delivery through five businesses comprising CMR Consultants, ENER-G Efficiency, ENER-G Procurement, ENER-G Metering and Data Solutions and ENER-G Controls.

Mike Langan has been appointed General Manager of ENER-G’s consultancy division CMR Consultants, which operates as an independent energy and water consultancy business.

Steven Jeffers has been promoted to General Manager of ENER-G Efficiency, which implements cost reducing energy technologies across a raft of applications. Mark Alston has joined from Centrica to lead the newly created ENER-G Procurement business, and the ENER-G Metering and Data Solutions business will now be headed by Stephen Walshaw.

The ENER-G Controls business has appointed Gary Dowsett as Director of Business Development and Marketing to spearhead a major expansion of the business.
