National energy efficiency and fuel poverty scheme provider, Effective Energy Group has appointed two managing directors to Group companies as part of exciting growth plan that it says will see sales surpass £100million for the first time this year.

Dave Pearson and Dan Graby have been appointed to head Effective Energy Solutions and Effective Home respectively.

Richard Cox, chief executive of Effective Energy Group said: “Dave and Dan are starting their new jobs at an incredibly exciting period for the Group. The Government’s ECO4 scheme is on the horizon; energy reduction is a key aim for virtually every household in the country; and we’ve recently finalised the acquisition of Premier Connections, which means we can identify and help more people reduce their energy usage and hopefully play a big role in reversing the trend that has led to over six million homes slipping into fuel poverty.”

Dave Pearson joins Effective Energy Solutions from OVO Energy (formerly SSE), where he worked as ECO national commercial developer. He’d previously been business development manager at Npower and head of ECO and Green Deal for Acrobat Carbon Services.

Meanwhile, Dan Graby has moved to Effective Home from Effective Energy Solutions where he was a director. His challenge will include incorporating Premier Connections successfully into the business, while at the same time delivering a whole range of measures under ECO4 and the expansion of the business into commercial solar.

Interim Effective Home managing director, Chris Cowling has been appointed commercial director of the business.

“With energy prices set to continue rising, the next year is going to be the most significant yet on the path towards the UK being carbon neutral by 2050, and we now have the senior management team in place to ensure we can identify and help more households than ever before,” added Richard.
