A former rubber factory and brewery complex in Fountainbridge, is now the home of the Edinburgh Printmakers. This heritage building has attracted much interest and attention and has been the recipient of many awards, both for the project itself, as well as its social impact.  Additionally it is acknowledged as being one of Scotland’s best new buildings.

Grundfos Pumps worked closely with M&E consultants Harley Haddow and contractors Emtec Building Services, to come up with the right solution for this landmark project.

Specifying a range of ultra-efficient Grundfos MAGNA3 circulators that are ideal for a range of HVAC demands as well as several sets from their extensive water boosting range, all parties knew that the M&E infrastructure would be ready to answer all that would be asked of it.

Already proving to be a real winner, the project has established itself as an important hub for both print as well as visual arts, that is providing studios, classrooms, galleries, retail and hire options, under its roof.

As the print industry enters a new era, this building is proof that print, far from being part of our history, is set to be intrinsically linked with our future, and will continue to play a role in our life’s in the years to come.
