After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing challenges brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, the CSA Management Committee has made the decision to further postpone its ‘Making Buildings Work’ Conference, which was due to take place in March next year.
Unfortunately, despite the positive and much welcomed news regarding vaccine approval and roll out, the impact of the regional tier-based restrictions over the coming few months will significantly affect our ability to stage the intended event. We are disappointed at being unable to maintain this date for all those who have already engaged with the event, including of course our wonderful Speakers, Sponsors and Partners, but once again we know it’s the right decision, based on the information available to us at this time.
Of course we all hope that the Government will be in a position to loosen the current measures as quickly as possible, allowing businesses and their staff to begin the economic recovery, but we also have to be pragmatic in both our endeavours and planning.
The event will now take place in March 2022, by which time it is hoped that the public health measures and the personal sacrifices we’ve all made throughout this year, coupled with the planned vaccination programme, will have had the desired effect, and life will have returned to some semblance of normality.
This further postponement again allows for any existing engagement with the event to simply roll forward to this new dateline, when it is hoped the same event will be delivered and supported by the same complement of participants.
