Leeds College of Building is a step closer to creating a new world class building in the centre of Leeds after appointing two key consultants with integral roles in delivering the new 12,000sq m college site.

Design practice, Fuse, will be providing architecture and interior design services and Davis Langdon will be acting as project managers and cost consultants for the project.

Ian Billyard Principal of Leeds College of Building said: “The College is very excited by the appointments and is looking forward to working with both companies to deliver a building fit for the 21st Century, which will help consolidate Leeds College of Building as the premier construction institution in the UK.”

RA Real Estate has been advising the College on its development of a new building to complement its existing portfolio.  Richard Ashmore of RA Real Estate explains: “With the appointment of Fuse and Davis Langdon we believe the real work can now begin to realise a fantastic new site for Leeds College of Building and its students. The briefing and site identification process has commenced and we are targeting a project completion for the start of the 2015 academic year.”
