Cablofil’s wire cable tray has been used in the fit out at the newly completed prestigious offices known as Bridgewater Place, one of the tallest buildings outside London and the tallest building in Leeds.
Contractor, SES (Shepherd Engineering Services) used the simple-to-install cable management solution on floors three, four and nine of the impressive 32-storey Bridgewater Place tower.  However, the steel tray has not been put in place to contain overhead cables as you might expect, but under the floor for use with the low voltage cabling that will feed busbars and sockets.
Containing a mixture of luxury apartments, a hotel and nine floors of grade ‘A’ commercial office space, the building, designed by architects, Aedas, has already become a key landmark for the city and a much sought-after business address.  For SES, tasked with completing the fit out for new occupiers St James Securities, 2Plan and BDO Stoy Hayward within a challenging schedule, Cablofil offered the ideal mix of speed, cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
Ashley Rawson, Senior Project Engineer at SES commented: “We have used Cablofil as an underfloor cable management solution before because it’s really easy to use, helping us to save time on site and offering us much greater flexibility than traditional tray for configuring the installation.”
