In response to a massive expansion in its training provision, leading training provider BEST (Building Engineering Services Training) has launched a new website (www.best-ltd.co.uk) introducing a variety of useful and innovative features for both apprentices and employers. This dramatic revamp will assist existing apprentices with their training, help prospective learners in choosing a building services engineering apprenticeship to suit their needs and also encourage employers in this sector to take on an apprentice.
So what is new for BEST’s website? Firstly, applying for a course has never been easier as all application forms can now be downloaded and completed on-line.
Another first for the building services engineering sector is BEST’s website ‘Forum’ which provides an interactive platform, similar to those found on social networking sites, where learners and employers alike can create a personal profile, exchange emails and engage in training related discussions. Course information will be posted on-line by BEST training advisors, who will also be available to answer questions and offer support.
Other added features include E-Newsletters, which employers and learners can subscribe to receive and case studies where learners can read about like-minded students who have enrolled as apprentices in the building services engineering sector.
The new website reflects BEST’s forward thinking approach to training and increased services. Following its recent strategic alliance with Electrical Assessment Services UK Limited (EAS UK Ltd), BEST has expanded its extensive portfolio of apprenticeship disciplines to include a full electro-technical training package allowing learners to explore the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical services. For older learners BEST is now able to offer funding for apprentices over the age of 25, perfect for those looking to change their career.
