The environmental division of White Young Green (WYG), consultants to the built natural and social environment, has further expanded its Manchester office team with the appointment of Steven Radford, a renewable energy specialist.
Joining the company as an associate, Steven brings with him over nine years of project management experience in renewable energy, environmental regeneration and new build construction. He also has extensive knowledge of business development and environmental assessment, delivering on a wide range of projects throughout the UK and overseas in the renewable energy fields of wind, biomass and tidal.
Based in WYG’s Manchester office Steven’s new role involves responsibility for the investigation and assessment of renewable energy sector projects both at a strategic level for government agencies and councils, as well as for private sector led developments.
His new role will also include specific responsibilities such as developing the client base and projects in the sector taking them from concept through design, planning and consent. Steven is currently working on a planning application for a wind farm in Yorkshire with the production of a full environmental statement.
