Ventmiser is a fully automated control device for ventilation. Totally transparent to the end user it really is a fit and forget solution. With no need for recalibration the encapsulated sensors are robust and with a proven track record of over 12000 units installed in the UK alone.
Ventmiser CMSM works by sensing the current of kitchen appliances such as the cooker hob and by sensing the hot pipe of a bath or shower to automatically boost or turn on the ventilation without any interaction from the occupier. This has many advantages including energy savings by only boosting ventilation when actually needed, protecting the fabric of the building by removing moisture and cooking smells immediately. Ventmiser has been proven to reduce false fire alarms in student accommodation thus saving carbon and lowering the impact on resources needed by the fire and rescue services throughout the UK. Ventmiser is now becoming a household name having already won the H+V News Awards 2008 receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise (innovation) in 2009 then October 2010 scooping product of the Year at the Housebuilder Awards.
The patented energy saving controls are now being recognised as a necessity in student accommodation and new build homes particularly with the 2010 Part F building regulation .
