Trox has announced a number of additions to its senior team to manage a period of unprecedented growth. Managing Director David Leatherbarrow said: “The business has grown by 50% over the last 18 months and with the success of Trox AITCS we needed to increase the skills within the business to maintain and improve our customer service levels, and that process is still continuing across the business at all levels”.
The changes announced by Trox started to take effect in January following Terry Farthing’s decision to relinquish his position as Sales Director after a distinguished career spanning over 30 years with Trox. Alan Basnett is appointed as the new Sales Director and has worked for Trox for 17 years starting in the Manchester Sales Office, he then moved to London in 2001 to head up the Southern sales team.
Ian Sams has been promoted from Marketing Manager to Business Manager Strategy and Planning working for David Leatherbarrow. In his role Ian will head up the marketing and export functions, as well as work with the Board to plan and implement strategy. Terry Farthing now works in the company on a part time basis as Head of Communications and will manage the Trox Academy and the company’s PR activities
Neil Addison had been promoted to Southern Regional Sales Manager reporting to Alan Basnett. Addison joined Trox in 2005 from Colt where he headed up fan coil sales.
Export forms an important part of the Trox business and to strengthen this area Mark Dawes has been appointed as Export Manager reporting to Ian Sams, Dawes has considerable international experience in both sales and product management working in France in an international capacity for over seven years.
Juergen Dieris has joined the Trox UK Technical team from Trox Germany as Product Development Co-ordinator. Dieris comes with considerable experience in both R&D and product management for chilled beam, air distribution and fire dampers.
