The Ceiling Collection is the latest group of diffusers to join the Air Diffusion product range. These diffusers have been designed with all parties in mind, to be cost-effective and to ensure that from installer to end user, the diffusers are as simple as possible to install and maintain and provide a comfortable environment for the end-user.
There are a variety of slot and spread patterns available. The positioning of the discs on the faceplates can be easily rotated to cater to the occupants needs by changing the spread pattern without affecting air flow, pressure drop or sound level. This keeps a consistent level of air distribution with minimal sound – something which often leads to system imbalance and performance issues later on in a building’s lifecycle.
The diffusers are constructed with hinges that clip smoothly into the backing box to hold the face securely to the box. It can be easily opened to enable installers or maintenance personnel to access inside the ductwork when necessary, without the faceplate needing to be completely disconnected from the box – making access for an operator very convenient when standing on a ladder!
The faceplates can be replaced and changed easily and regularly, depending on the building owner’s and end users’ requirements. Only one person is required for the replacement job, saving both time and money – an installer’s dream!
The ALS Commissioning Box has a unique design that aids the ease of installation. The box has been designed to allow true 360°C rotation so that the box can be fitted to the diffuser from any direction. This makes both the ALS and the diffusers simple to manoeuvre, increasing the scope for installation possibilities and keeping the installer’s job simple.
The Box also helps to improve the indoor environment; its perforated interior reduces the level of sound generated in the ductwork – an ideal choice for a space where disturbances need to be kept at a minimum.
