Sanyo Airconditioners’ growth in the UK has been further strengthened by the appointment of Ian Savage to the position of Technical Manager. Drawing on his vast technical knowledge, Ian will play a key role in building on the success of Sanyo’s ground breaking products, by providing Sanyo’s distributors’ with a technical resource, as well as key product information and literature.

As Technical Manager a key part of Ian’s role is to support our distributors and ensure they are supplied with the correct technical information to pass onto their customers. Ian’s remit will also include implementing a raft of new Sanyo initiatives, including launching a text message error service to aid service engineers and expanding Sanyo’s training to our distributors and their customers.”
Ian previously worked as a technical support manager at 3D Air Sales Ltd and has over 35 years experience in the air conditioning industry, including 30 years at York International. Commenting on his appointment Ian explains his reasons behind his move to Sanyo. “Sanyo Airconditioners is such a strong brand with an ambitious, forward thinking team, which I am pleased to join. With energy consumption levels and green issues ever more on the industry agenda I am particularly interested and excited about working with Sanyo’s innovative product range including gas heat pump technology and the CO2 ECO Heating System.”
