Sabien Technology, the manufacturer and supplier of M2G boiler energy efficiency technology, has confirmed a £997,625 contract win with telecommunications giant BT. This brings the total value of the BT contract to £1,179,488 since 2009.

The order represents ongoing phases of M2G installations within BT’s 7,500 properties in the UK and is the latest development in an ongoing commercial relationship between Sabien and BT. This relationship began in 2009 with successful pilots of the M2G, where M2G units were retrofitted to existing boiler plant and integrated with existing building management systems.

“The fact that BT has placed orders worth just under £1m with us reflects the continuing momentum of business improvement as we move into the final quarter of 2011, and bodes extremely well for the Group’s sales pipeline through to the end of this year and into 2012,” said chief executive Alan O’Brien. “Sabien is now on the radar of leading blue chip companies with procurement departments which need to know they are investing in proven technology which will pay dividends over the longer term.”

“The win follows hard on the heels of other major contracts such as the £457,000 win with Hampshire County Council earlier this year, a £264,000 contract with the London Borough of Greenwich and orders for £300,000 from Geffen, our US distributor,” he added.
