It has been a year since BSEE launched the first ‘Where’s Watty’ competition and since then this stealthy young badger has been travelling the UK, popping up in interesting places as he chats to people about how he can reduce his carbon pawprint. Each month, BSEE readers have written in to guess where he has been photographed and, since January 2011, 12 lucky winners have received a cuddly badger for correctly naming the places and cities that Watty has visited!
For those who have not yet made his acquaintance, Little Watty Baxter was the name chosen for the badger who appears on the Baxi-SenerTec UK logo. Short for Little Walter, it was thought that Little Watty reflects the emphasis of the business being represented, which is Combined Heat and Power (CHP), both of which have the unit ‘Watt’. What some may not know is that Dachs, the name of the mini-CHP unit that is marketed in the UK by Baxi-SenerTec UK, is the German word for badger!
Competition
In every issue, Little Watty Baxter will be sending in a new snap from his travels and we will be asking you to work out where he is.
This month, Little Watty Baxter travelled by a mode of transport much in the national news recently and is pictured here at an international terminus taking in the view. He is excited at seeing the enormous set of Olympic rings, the first of several sets of rings being erected on landmarks in the run up to next July’s Games. Then his attention is drawn to the iconic clock and romantic sculpture directly below, a work by Paul Day called, ‘The Meeting Place’.
To be in with a chance of winning your very own cuddly Little Watty Baxter, simply look at the photograph and tell us – Where’s Watty?
Please email your answers to: trushtonthorpe@datateam.co.uk
The winner will be chosen at random and will receive a cuddly badger. The closing date for this competition is 01 March 2012.
