Tridium EMEA has launched the latest version of its NiagaraAX software platform. V3.6 offers improved security features and usability enhancements, as well as support for a new Static Ram option card (JOCSRM) designed to protect against data loss in the event of power failure within a building. Tridium also announces the availability of three new drivers; a Milestone driver, providing support for NVR technology; plus system drivers which enable connection to the McQuay and Carrier CCN protocols.
One of the significant new features of NiagaraAX 3.6 is support for a new JOCSRM option card, available for JACE- 2, JACE-6 and M2M series products, which enable the units to operate without a backup battery during power outages, whilst still protecting valuable data. The card eliminates the need for re-chargeable batteries and the labour cost associated with their periodic replacement.
The new software release enhances security by providing users with the option to authenticate to NiagaraAX using an RSA SecurID server which manages the credential for each user. Furthermore, Release 3.6 offers a variety of enhanced capabilities, such as, expanded functions for Niagara’s Wire Sheet, Weather Module and additional support for server drivers.
