New from Rinnai
Published:  09 January, 2012

Rinnai’s unique condensing technology on its heavy duty condensing continuous flow water heaters incorporates two heat exchangers to achieve optimum water heating generated from every cubic metre of natural gas or LPG, capturing residual heat from their flue gases and transferring it into the water being heated.

Available in both internal and external versions, HDC1200i gives end users 107% net efficiency because the condensing process delivers up to 97% thermal efficiency, translating to significant energy savings when compared to standard tankless water heaters; the HDC1500i turns in 105% net efficiency.

The smart digital controller regulates the pre-set temperature within +/- 1°C of the set point, irrespective of the number of outlets opened. All models have full electronic ignition with no pilot light and operate on demand only, consuming no gas when not in use.

The units are renewables-ready (suitable for use as a temperature booster for solar thermal and heat-pump) and can be easily configured in a manifold arrangement, ensuring you will never run out of hot water whatever the demand. As long as electricity, water, and gas supplies are connected, hot water is available.
