Hager has launched a control and circuit protection solution for domestic and commercial photovoltaic applications.
As every installation is different, Hager’s device offer is a modular solution. Hager offers various sizes of AC and DC rotary handle switches, a DC1000V din rail rotary switch, a type B RCCB 4 pole, surge protection, photovoltaic fuse carriers and fuses as well as metering.
These can be housed in a number of different enclosures ranging from a consumer unit to smaller enclosures.
Says Chris Howells, product manager for Hager: “There are a number of different solutions for photovoltaic installations so the circuit protection and control can vary greatly. We think that the best approach is to allow the installer to choose exactly what they need.”
Hager also offers an engineered solutions service. Non-standard photovoltaic control units, special configurations in standard enclosures, IP55 and metal DIN rail enclosures are supplied factory assembled. This allows the board to be configured to suit the individual needs of a PV installation with a factory assured and tested product.
