Alpha Electronics, nationwide distributor of handheld and portable electrical and electronic test equipment, has been appointed an authorised distributor of FLIR thermal imagers. Gary Biggs, Sales Director for Alpha Electronics, explained: “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to promote FLIR products which we shall be using to target the higher end thermal imaging applications, for example to building diagnostics consultants, with 640 x 480 array cameras such as the FLIR T640bx and T620bx Series.”
The FLIR T640bx and FLIR T620bx thermal imagers feature a tiltable high definition 640x480 pixels detector. This generates a crisp and clear detailed image on a high-quality 4.3in LCD screen which is easy to interpret, resulting in reliable inspections with higher accuracy. The FLIR T620bx is equipped with 1-4 times digital zoom while the FLIR T640bx offers 1-8 times digital zoom and a viewfinder.
An intuitive, touch-screen user interface, in combination with the large backlit buttons and joystick control, make the FLIR imagers very easy to use. Text comments can be selected from a list. A Bluetooth headset can be connected to make voice annotations.
