Buderus, the commercial heating arm of Bosch Thermotechnology in the UK, has boosted its comprehensive range with the introduction of GWPL low-carbon gas absorption heat pumps, providing a more sustainable alternative to electric heat pumps and gas-fired condensing boilers.
GWPL gas absorption heat pumps offer many advantages over other heating systems. Reduced energy costs and a fast return on investment are key factors in the appeal of the technology, and the low maintenance requirements of the systems can also lead to long-term savings.
Resulting in low carbon emissions, the installation of GWPL gas absorption heat pumps can make a major contribution towards sustainability targets and compliance with legislation. BREEAM credits and improved energy certificate ratings for buildings are two fundamental advantages of the energy efficient systems, and there is also a reduced requirement to purchase carbon allowances for organisations participating in the government’s mandatory Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme (CRC).
Mike Southall, Business Development Director for Buderus, said: “The addition of the GWPL low-carbon gas absorption heat pumps to the existing range demonstrates the emphasis that Buderus places on providing specifiers with a wide choice of high output, high efficiency heating solutions.”
