The new EC-Eau range of hot water cylinders from Dimplex has the answer for every home as, in addition to models for use with renewable energy systems, it also includes an extensive range of standard direct and indirect unvented cylinders, which incorporate a number of energy-saving design features.
The EC-Eau unvented range offers the same excellent performance levels as the existing Dimplex SCxn range, but combine efficiency with performance for advanced levels of energy saving.
The range exceeds CHESS best practice standards for standing heat losses, incorporating 60mm of CFC-free foam injected insulation for excellent heat retention. Recessed immersion heater and thermostat housings minimise heat loss and boost energy efficiency, while side (rather than top) hot water draw off connections also help to hold onto heat.
What’s more, the range materials have been selected for reduced environmental impact, with a fully-recyclable stainless steel inner vessel and a distinctive black tough outer coating, made from 100% recycled materials.
Unvented cylinders provide mains pressure hot water for fast-filling baths and powerful showers, and give a simultaneous supply to all bathrooms and other domestic appliances.
