New technical literature
Published:  27 June, 2011

Pittsburgh Corning has updated its website to include a new range of technical literature aimed at specifiers of its FOAMGLAS cellular glass insulation. After gaining valuable customer feedback, the latest literature includes information on insulation for the entire building envelope, facades, interiors, flat roofs, metal and special roof systems.

FOAMGLAS insulation offers specific performance advantages for roofing systems and as such, specifiers can select a brochure dedicated to flat, metal and special roofs including green roof systems. All brochures explore how FOAMGLAS can insulate and protect a variety of roofs for the lifetime of the building and include project examples.

The brochures look at how FOAMGLAS insulation can play a key part in the envelope construction and its contribution towards improvement on sound, fire, thermal mass and sustainability performance.

All FOAMGLAS products are manufactured from 68% recycled glass, they are impervious to moisture, have a non-combustible (Euroclass A1) core and offer high compressive strength. Furthermore, FOAMGLAS will not degrade over time and once installed should never require replacement.
