After a recent surge in university applications fuelled demand for student accommodation in Liverpool, Wirral-based building services firm, Kimpton, has won the building services design and installation contract for a new student residence on London Road.
The site was formerly home to the Windsor pub which has been demolished to make way for the construction of a high specification, 100 unit student residential block called Windsor Court. Constructed by university accommodation specialist, Ocon Construction, the scheme is due for completion in August 2011, in time for the return of students in September.
