Higher efficiency from Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Electric has updated its range of M Series MXZ Multi air conditioning outdoor units to include new sizes, new indoor model combinations and new energy saving and diagnostic features, whilst also offering owners the ability to cost-effectively replace existing R22 systems.

New models available in the first quarter of 2011 will include updated models for the sizes 52, 54, 71, 80, 100 and 140. There is also a new size 120 for the 2011 MXZ range. The entire range all boast A ratings for both heating and cooling energy performance with the new size 54 model leading the way with an ultra high heating COP performance of 5.04.

The new size 120 has a cooling capacity of 11.9kW and heating capacity of 13.7kW at UK conditions and can be connected to a maximum of six indoor units. This model comes in a compact frame size of 900 x 320 1070mm and can be connected with a maximum total system pipe length of 80m.

The new MXZ range has connection options across the range of M Series and Mr Slim indoor unit ranges providing ultimate flexibility.
