New from Aereco
Published:  04 January, 2011

Now available from Aereco is the Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) system which is proven to have much lower energy usage than conventional systems whilst providing greater levels of comfort in living areas and eliminating mould and condensation in wet rooms.

DCV is proven to offer big energy savings and a lower capital cost, quicker installation times and, therefore, cheaper on-site costs as well as low maintenance and low operating costs.

Aereco DCV systems include humidity sensors on the grilles that automatically react to occupancy so if the occupants are out the system operates on minimum, producing a trickle of air. When the house is occupied the special humidity sensitive grilles react and boost ventilation to suit demand.

When humidity sensitive technology is applied to the air inlets as well as to the air extract units, the cross sectional area of the ventilation units is modulated according to the local relative humidity. When used on extract grilles in bathrooms and kitchens, pollutants and mould cannot develop.
