MK Electric has introduced a new female HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) outlet to its popular wiring devices portfolio of multimedia modules.
Suitable for both commercial and residential applications, the outlet is ideal for use with home entertainment systems, and in small offices and commercial buildings, to connect devices such as TV screens or projectors. The product is HDMI 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 compatible, HDCP compliant and supports high resolution inputs including 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p for HDTV.
This product is the latest addition to a range of multi-media devices that provides a comprehensive solution for most audio-visual needs. The range consists of combination plates and audio-visual outlets that complement MK’s market-leading wiring devices ranges.
These combination plates require less installation time and space as they provide a complete multi-media solution in one device. The four-gang large combination plate incorporates a quadplexer, BT and four 13A switched socket outlets. Also fully compatible with Sky Plus, the plates feature space for four Euro modules for additional multimedia, data or power requirements.
