Tridium has announced the release of Vykon HVAC 2.2 incorporating major new features, improvements to further ease configuration and reporting, as well as specific application enhancements. Tridium’s Vykon HVAC automates HVAC application creation through an intuitive, software-based solution.
One of the highlights of the new version is a mobile user interface which provides access to HVAC applications via an iPhone, or other smart phone, to allow easy adjustment of set-points and access to logging histories, running parameters and alarms. Version 2.2 also offers multi-station object linking, which permits Vykon HVAC applications to share data with common applications, such as fire, outside air temperature and time schedules, running across multiple Tridium JACE controllers.
Vykon HVAC 2.2 eases system configuration through the creation of custom application configuration views which give a clearer indication of what is linked and what can be configured. The introduction of automatic PDF report generation of all application settings, configuration and graphics views helps create ‘as-installed’ documentation. Tridium has also built a range of new applications into the system, such as Absolute Night Purge, Holiday and Time Schedule, as well as numerous application enhancements.
