Samsung has launched a ground-breaking web-based digital catalogue for its complete range of air conditioning products. Installers and specifiers are now able to search for the product or package they need, view technical data and diagrams, and print out a bespoke datasheet showing just their selected system.
Until now almost all manufacturers have made printed catalogues available via the web. Samsung’s UK Sales Manager Jon Pettitt says this is different. “This is so much more useful then downloading the PDF of a whole catalogue. With just two or three clicks visitors can build the package relevant to them and see all the data they need on one screen, or print it on one bespoke leaflet.”
A unique feature of the digital catalogue is how it handles information for FJM, Samsung’s Free Join Multi split system with twin, triple or quad indoor units to each outdoor unit. The web visitor simply selects the capacity of outdoor unit, then clicks on indoor units of any type or size up to the ‘real’ capacity of outdoor unit, and prints out one leaflet showing all the units in the selected package.
