Clearly heat pumps
Published:  04 October, 2010

Glow-worm’s straightforward range of air to water heat pumps, Clearly Heat Pumps, has recently been granted product accreditation under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). The approval has been awarded by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) following a series of site inspection visits to the company’s Clearly Heat Pumps laboratory and production facilities.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme which certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent industry standards. The scheme is designed to evaluate microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria providing greater protection and benefits for consumers.

As one of the smallest and highest efficiency air to water heat pumps on the market, Glow-worm’s Clearly Heat Pumps solution is the perfect choice for both new build and retrofit installations alike.

Consisting of a single external unit requiring just an electricity supply and heating flow/return connections, there is no need for expensive ground loops or drilling of bore holes for installation unlike with ground source heat pumps. Air to water heat pumps are based on proven refrigeration technology adapted to provide highly efficient space heating.
